Craft your nature inspired look with a piece of wearable art. This Bird Shape was cut from sheet of glass and then painted with glass enamels for a one of a kind gift.

Process:
This pendant style is created by cutting one sheet of white glass into the desired shape, drill the holes, and then fire it to round the edges. Then I paint the image directly on the surface in layers. Sometimes I will fire each layer before continuing on with more detail. This helps stabilize the image, so the bottom layers are not altered in the layering process.
After the image is fired and cooled, the painting is permanent and will not rub off.
I then attach a chain with jump rings.

This cable chain is antiqued brass plated on copper and is Nickel Free. Lobster clasp.
