These kiln formed art glass necklaces are created by layering glass and firing it up to 1500 degrees. At that temperature, the glass becomes one piece. After it is properly cooled, I grind a half round groove on the edge which allows me to safely wire wrap the glass.
Glass: Purple Glow dichroic glass and clear glass.
The glow is achieved with a special type of glass called Dichroic Art Glass.
It is delicate and looks different when held up to dark or light backgrounds.
